Thousands of people rely on featureOS everyday to collaborate with their customers about a feature requests . This means, hundreds of product managers have featureOS pinned in their browser tab at any given time. This makes us happy, and sort of helps us understand how important featureOS is for these product managers.
A few weeks ago, we sat down to see how we can improve the experience for people who hate refresh buttons to know what change has happened in their page. For example, you have a great feedback from your customer on featureOS, and you reply to that post with your thoughts. Until today, you would know if a customer has responded to your comment via email or through our third-party integrations. While this is great in some ways, we can do better.
Starting today, comments and status updates update in real-time. You don’t have to refresh your browser every time you want to know when a new comment gets published by your customers or other team members. This is just the beginning of the real-time updates we are bringing to featureOS, and over the next few weeks, we aim to make as many elements of featureOS real-time as possible to help you collect feedback from customers even better.
Besides this, we have also made some important upgrades to your existing features, and here’s a quick overview of what’s new on featureOS:
- Recent activities in Admin Dashboard now shows even more information about the activities.
- Improved navigation in the Admin Dashboard. Now, all the navigation elements are grouped together contextually.
- Fixed an issue with merge posts.
- Improved roadmap view in dark mode.
- Improved performance of merge posts workflow by 2x.
Next week, we are aiming for even bigger things, and you can take a peek at the featureOS Public Roadmap here ↗
